GALLE MARQUETRY SCENT BOTTLE. Extremely rare Galle scent bottle has deep amber colored background with marquetry inlay designs and water lilies of blue, yellow and red. Flowers are wheel carved and delicately detail design. The silver collar and top are nicely engraved with a water scene with raised water lilies that match the wheel carved water lilies in the glass bottle. The stopper underneath the silver top is wheel carved in a triangular design. Signed on side with ornate carved signature “Galle”. Silver foot and top are hallmarked with a diamond shaped hallmark with a star at top and bottom point of diamond and the letters “A” “C” separated by a raised shape of a bugle.
