*RARE AND OUTSTANDING LC SMITH EAGLE GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN FWE65185. Cal. 20 ga. 28″ bbls. Matted tapered rib with dual ivory sighting beads. 2-1/2″ chambers IMP.MOD/FULL chokes, ejectors, and double triggers. Receiver is engraved in standard loose foliate border pattern with relief stippled background. Engraved flying pheasant on left side plate, flying goose on right, and standing arch winged eagle on top lever. Trigger guard bow engraved in open foliate scroll, mounted with fancy well figured American walnut, checkered splinter forend with black tip insert, and checkered pistol grip with hard rubber grip cap 14″ to hard rubber butt plate. Bore diameter: left -.615, right -.615. Bore restrictions: left -.024, right -.016. Wall thickness: left -.036, right -.031. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″. Drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 6 lbs 7 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain 98-99% of orig blue with just some very minor light handling marks. Receiver and forend metal retain nearly all of their orig case colors with only a slight amount of fading at the sharp edges. Trigger guard like bbls have most of their orig blue. Stock is solid with minor hairline crack off of left plate and a few minor light handling marks in a lovely hand rubbed oil finish. There are hairline cracks on both left and right side rear portion of forend. This gun comes with a Hunter Arms LC Smith hanging tag.
