FINE MILITIA INFANTRY OFFICERS SWORD. 32” straight single fuller blade is marked “SHJ” on the right ricasso. It is decorated with blue and gilt military themes. The silverplated hilt has an eagle finial on the quillian and an Indian princess pommel. The pearl scales are attached with twisted brass wire. Scabbard is engraved and plated to match. CONDITION: Fine with bright blade, slight wear to high points on hilt, the scabbard shows little wear but is badly tarnished.
