FINE HORSTMANN ARTILLERY OFFICERS SWORD. 29-1/2” single fuller straight blade marked “HORSTMANN / & SONS” on the left ricasso “PHILADELPHIA” on the right. The reverse of the scabbard is also marked with the name and the number 423. The brass scabbard has punched and engraved decorations. CONDITION: Fine with only slight rub marks to the blue and gilt decoration on the blade. The mountings are bright. The fluted bone handle is excellent.
