UNMARKED HIGH QUALITY SINGLE SHOT TIP-UP RIFLE. Cal. 38. 26” part octagonal bbl. Lightly engraved frame, lockplate and triggerguard. Checkered pistol grip stock and forearm of high-grade walnut. The sights are a globe front and an open tube at the rear. Eldon thought this was a Wurfflein rifle, but there are no marks of any kind on it. CONDITION: Near new with most of the brown remaining on the bbl and nickel on the action and buttplate. Lockplate has a blue/brown patina that is smooth. Stock is excellent with minor dents along the lower edge. 4-52769 FS66 (2,500-3,500)
