LAMARTINE CAMEO & ENAMEL VASE. Very fine Lamartine vase has cameo trees enameled with reddish-brown trunks and various shades of green foliage. Central tree has lost its leaves and is enameled in shades of gray with realistic bark depiction. Trees extend up from a rolling meadow enameled in greens, yellows and browns. Scenic view is set against a wonderful striated pink background. Vase is finished with an unusual rippled and angled rim. Signed near the foot with engraved signature “Lamartine”. SIZE: 6-1/2″ t.
