EAGLE HEAD OFFICERS SWORD. 30-3/4” straight single fuller blade etched on both sides with an American eagle on the left side under fifteen stars, which might serve to date the sword. The brass scabbard is also engraved with an American eagle and fifteen stars. CONDITION: Fine, retaining 80% of the silver on the hilt, a bright blade with minor specks of surface rust and over 1/2 of the tarnished silver on the scabbard. 4-48569 FS134 (Lowry Estate) (2,000-3,000)
