OUTSTANDING PAIR OF PAINTED WOOD FIGURES. Well modeled figures of an elegant man and woman are mounted on square wood blocks. The man is dressed in fine clothes including red and gilt vest, white cravat, green with gilt highlighted pants, blue stockings and fancy shoes. One hand slightly behind his back and one hand is outstretched. The woman with slightly cocked head and one arm down with one arm up. She wears a blue ruffled sleeve gown with red crossed sash, yellow shoes and yellow gloves. SIZE: 35-1/2” h. CONDITION: There is some repaint to various parts, added replaced parts including hands and fingers. 5-61777 (6000-8000)
