LIMOGES ENAMEL COMPOTE. Exceptional art nouveau compote has a beautifully enameled bowl with mottled and flowing colors of red, brown, yellow, green, and blue. The enameled bowl is housed in a magnificent hammered metal frame resembling a stylized tree with gnarled branches. The metalwork attributed to Edgar Brandt is beautifully executed and flows magnificently with the bowl. The enameled bowl is signed on the side “P. Bonnaud Limoges”. SIZE: 10-1/2″ h.
