EXTREMELY RARE FRANK WESSON DBL BBL RIFLE SHOTGUN. Cal. 42/12 ga. SN: 6. 26” ribbed bbls, marked “F.WESSON’S PATENT / WORCESTER MASS.” on the rib behind the adjustable rear sight. There is a pinecone stamped at the rib extension on the top of the frame and on the sides of the hammers. The forearm has a small raised bead along the contact with the bbls. CONDITION: Excellent overall. 95% bright brown finish on the bbls and bright casehardening on the action. Slightly fancy wood is not checkered but retains most of its original varnish. Adjustable tang sight retains most its bright blue. Action is excellent. 4-52688 FS90 (6,000-9,000)
