JENNINGS FIRST MODEL RIFLE. Cal. 54. SN 27. 26” rnd bbl, missing the entire lock and operating mechanism. Only the left part of the frame, bbl, and magazine tube remain. Rear sight has been modified and probably replaced. Standard Robbins & Lawrence and Dixon markings on left side of engraved receiver. CONDITION: Bbl and magazine tube are excellent retaining about 80% of the original brown mixed with surface rust and pitting. Action has traces of blue mixed with rust and light pitting. Buttstock has numerous small dents and a few chips. 4-53168 FS2 (2,500-3,500)
