BERTHA MENZLER PEYTON (American, 1871-1950) WHITE FLOWERS IN BLUE VASE. Oil on canvas still life shows large blue vase with white flowers with green leaves. Set on a green table top. Signed lower right “Bertha Menzler Peyton”. Housed in a period Arts and Crafts molded wood frame. Stretcher has remnants of an original exhibition label, also stapled to back is note “Not for Sale Loaned for Mem. Show by R. C. Hagstrom”. SIZE: 18” x 24”. CONDITION: Painting has several paint chips with worst area along left side. Painting is in need of restoration, otherwise very good. 9-93422 (2,000-3,000)
