B SNYDER (American, First half of the 20th Century) “OLD MAN IN THE MOUNTAIN”. Oil on canvas fall scene shows the famous New Hampshire landmark ‘Old Man in the Mountain’. A dirt road in the foreground winds through tall colorful trees showing the steep mountain with the rock profile. This feature was lost a few years ago and was a favorite spot amongst New England vacationers. Signed lower right “B Snyder”. Housed in its original gold colored molded wood frame. SIZE: 20” x 16-1/4”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-73382 (800-1,200)
