*SMITH & WESSON COMMERCIAL MODEL 1917 DA REVOLVER. Cal. 45 ACP/Auto Rim. Blued finish, 5 1/2” bbl, integral front sight, square butt with diamond checkered, walnut grips and a lanyard loop in the butt. This is the U.S. Service model without the military markings. SN 173865. CONDITION: Extremely fine, all matching including the grips. Retains 97-98% brilliant original blue with scattered tiny pin points of rust on the right side and sideplate. Retains most of the case colors on the trigger and hammer, slightly faded. Grips are extremely fine with very minor wear.
