PAIR OF JEFFERSON REVERSE PAINTED MANTLE LAMPS. Cylindrical shades are reverse painted with a sunset scene behind a lone cluster of trees. Blue sky shades to yellow-orange sunset, which gives way to a turquoise ocean. Each shade is marked “1001-R”. Shades rest atop base with rope-turn stem and rope design at the foot. SIZE: Overall is 15 1/2″ tall. CONDITION: One shade has small area at top rim of discoloration of paint, which is concealed by top cap. Otherwise very good to excellent. Bases have been repainted and one base has an additional hole drilled at foot. 5-68561 (1,000-1,500)
