UNIDENTIFIED REVOLVING RIFLE. Cal.42. NSN. 28″ part oct. bbl. Completely unmarked. The six shot cylinder is hand revolved and is decorated with seven knurled rings. The dbl set triggers are set in an iron trigger plate with fancy triggerguard. This gun is shown in Frank Sellers & Sam Smith’s American Percussion Revolvers on p. 201. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Half of the thinning blue remaining on the bbl. No finish on the action, triggerguard or buttplate. Stock has one heavy scratch on the right side, light dents and scratches elsewhere.
