RARE C.B. HOLDEN PATENT MODEL FOR DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Hand carved wooden model, 10-1/2” overall length with 4-3/8” bbls, a brass underlever with iron trigger guard and dbl triggers. It has raised side panels with the name “C.B. Holden” / Worcester” scratched in the right side. It is accompanied by its original patent office tag which shows number “109, 128” and has the date of “1870”. Part of Holden’s name is legible on the tag. CONDITION: Nicked and dinged with some small splinters missing from the left bbl. Retains a fine hand rubbed patina. Trigger guard and triggers are heavily rusted.
