Shade begins with a reverse painted scene of Greek islands with classical ruins in the foreground and a village in the background amongst cypress and olive trees in shades of green, brown, blue, yellow, orange and purple under a cloudless pale blue summer sky. Shade is signed “Handel 6212”. Shade is supported by a base with a brown patina finish having hints of green, three socket cluster and three acorn pulls. Base is signed above foot “Handel”. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Overall 24″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base has minor pitting and oxidation. 5-67688 (8,000-12,000)
