FIVE PAIRS OF MISC. SPURS. (1) Large Spanish star wheels with silver bar inlays, 4-1/2″, 8 point rowels with dbl jinglebobs & dbl heel chains and lightly decorated straps. Dark brown patina, good. (2) Late Garcia-style with 2″ shanks, ball chap guards, 2″, 14 point rowels with heavy yokes and chain slots with silver overlay and carved straps. CONDITION: Blue mostly turned to brown, good. (3) Heavy silver overlay Mexican Style with 1-1/2″ figure eight shanks with 2-3/4″, 8 point rowels, very nicely engraved silver overlay all the way around with large flower blossom swinging buttons and very nicely carved straps. A tag on the inside states “Lincoln County New Mexico” somewhat tarnished with honest wear. CONDITION: Very good. (4) Very heavy Mexican Style with 1-1/4″ serpentine shanks with heavy, 2-1/4″, 8 point rowels. They have silver overlay with triple Greek key design and large flower blossom swinging buttons. The straps are beautifully embroidered with gold bullion thread. CONDITION: Very Good plus. (5) Heavy Mexican Style with 1-3/4″ serpentine shanks, 3-1/4″, 8 point rowels with silver bar overlay on one side with leaf and flower design on other side. They have swinging buttons with the outside having silver bar overlay, nicely carved straps. CONDITION: Good. 4-57720 JR519 (1,000-2,000)
