IDENTIFIED THIRD MODEL BROWN BESS MUSKET. Cal. 70. NSN. 39” rnd bbl. Standard Tower marking on lock with British proof marks on bbl. Also engraved on top of bbl are issue marks “68 RT2B”. This regiment has not been researched. Ramrod is a replacement. Touchhole has been filled and moved backward. Pan appears to be orig. CONDITION: Rust/brown patina overall. Stock has been repaired, and refinished. Mechanically good. 4-58750 (2,000-4,000)
