FINE ENGLISH SMALL SETTEE WITH CREWEL UPHOLSTERY FROM THE JOSEPH PULITZER (Pulitzer Prize) COTTAGE, BAR HARBOR, MAINE. Hand crewel upholstery was done by Mr. Pulitzer’s wife and was given to our consignor as a gift. Small size sofa has front carved short cabriole legs with shell and bellflower carving. Nicely turned center and side stretchers and cabriole back legs. Crewel upholstery with flower vines and flowers. Comes with a down cushion with matching upholstery. SIZE: 36” h x 64” w x 30” d. CONDITION: Structurally sound, upholstery has faded but still usable. 9-28868 (1000-2000)
