1929 WARD BROTHERS RED HEAD DRAKE DECOY. This decoy being one of the earlier carvings by the world famous Ward Bros of Chrisfield, Maryland. Retaining original paint. Signed by “Lem” at a later time. (This being a standard practice. If you brought an old unsigned decoy to Lem in his later years he would the bottom). This also signed “LT Ward-Bro. Chrisfield, MD 1929”. SIZE: 16” l. CONDITION: The paint was probably touched up at the time that Lem signed it. Body retains original old worn paint which may have a little touch up on the sides. 9-29485 (1750-2750)
