RARE WHITE WING SCOTER DECOY BY GUS WILSON. Gus Wilson is Maine’s premiere antique decoy carvers from South Portland, Maine. This most unusual white wing scoter has a rare extended head position and oval inletted head featuring raised wings and typical carved eyes with an unusual keel weight on the bottom. SIZE: Approximately 23” l. CONDITION: A couple of small old age cracks in the body as well as a couple of scattered shot marks. Some in use old working repaint. A great and unusual form from this desirable carver. 9-29492 (3500-4500)
