EARLY GALLE CARVED DECANTER. Rare early smoky amber color Galle decanter is carved on one side with a roaring lion and on the backside with a stylized Fleur de Lis. Four flat knobs are applied on either side of the decanter. Signed on the bottom “GALLE DEPOSE” with an engraved flower. SIZE: 9 1/2″ tall. CONDITION: Small bruise to the ground pontil, near signature. Minor staining to the inside of the decanter, otherwise very good. 5-66878 (900-1,100)
