AMERICAN FLYER STANDARD GAUGE STEAM LOCOMOTIVE WITH VANDY TENDER & THREE FREIGHT CARS. Standard gauge steam engines by American Flyer are very scarce. 1) Large steam locomotive with 4-4-2 wheel arrangement and black boiler with light green pin stripe. Some flaking on boiler one side. Engine is complete. All wheels good except trailer truck wheels need to be replaced, and needs a drive rod attachment. 2) Vandy style Tender #4693 has large brass plate stating “American Flyer Lines”. 3) Also includes #4010 tank car with blue base, yellow body, and blue bracing. 4) Boxcar #4018 in dark cream with blue roof and doors. 5) Gondola car #4017 with dark green base, sides, and body. CONDITION: Some flaking on tender, cars have various minor scratches. Otherwise lot is very good. EC 1-6466 (500-700)
