U.S. NAVY MARKED CIVIL WAR ERA BINOCULARS. Pair of brass bodied French binoculars marked on the eye pieces “Royan / Paris” and marked on both tubes “U.S. Navy”. The adjusting wheel is bone. CONDITION: Good, the eye pieces and tubes retain about 80% of their black finish. The body is bare brass and the optic rings retain 30-40% of their original black paint. Optics are fine, the gnarled adjusting ring is cracked. 4-48980 JR739 (200-400)
