CIVIL WAR ERA FIELD’S SURGEONS KIT. This small kit in a brass bound rosewood case is a composite of various tools, some obviously indiginous to the case and some later replacements. Includes two saw blades and two amputation knives, each marked “Rose & Sellers”. Also included are four ivory handled tools including one marked “London”, one marked “Spangenders”, also included is a tourniquit, a rosewood handle and etc. SIZE: Approx. 12” long, 4-1/2” deep and approx. 3” tall.
