AMERICAN FLYER STANDARD GAUGE STEAM ENGINE, TENDER AND FOUR CARS. 1) Very large engine with 4-4-2 wheel arrangement, one of American Flyer’s most desirable locomotives because of its extra trim giving a very realistic appearance. 2) Comes with matching Vandy tender #4693 with big brass American Flyer plates on each side. 3) Also includes tank car #4010 with blue base and yellow body. Nice A.F. air service decal on each side and rubber stamped 4010. 4) Also Machinery car in orange with gray trucks. 5) Cattle car in medium teal with dark blue roof. 6) Caboose #4021 in deep red with maroon roof. CONDITION: Engine’s firebox pieces under cab may be replacement, as are front truck wheels. Cars have light chipping and scratching, overall very good. A really great set to own and very hard to find. EC 1-6460 (1,000-1,600)
