RARE AND IMPORTANT PAIR OF CHINESE EXPORT FAMILLE ROSE ARMORIAL DISHES. Circa 1730. Each border enamel decorated with pink floral clusters and a narrow turquoise band. Fishrow cavetto and broad central diamond cartouche incorporating six graduate panther heads with Arms of Izzard. Old labels on reverse indicate circa 1730-1740 and the crest being the “Coat of Arms of Izod of Toddington, Glos.”. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (FW Woolworth Dept. Store). SIZE: 8-3/4” dia.
