LOUIS ICART (French, 1888-1953) SPANISH DANCER. Colored etching depicts a woman in colorful outfit swirling her dress. She smokes a cigarette and she has tipped over a stool next to a cafe table. Signed lower right and numbered “5”. The upper border “Copyright 1927 by Les Graveurs Modernes 194 Rue de Rovili, Paris”. Housed in an incised carved and gilt frame with highlighted matte. Embossed stamp in corner “LI Paris” with a windmill. SIZE: Sight: 21-1/4″ x 14-1/2″. Image: 20″ x 13-1/4″. CONDITION: Paper toned, no rips or holes. Not examined out of frame. 9-95464 (800-1,200)
