$3,335.00

*MODIFIED SMITH & WESSON MODEL 39-2 SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. Cal. 9mm. Bbl and grip frame reduced to compact size with the bbl being 2-5/8” and grip frame approx. 3-1/2”. Magazine will probably hold five or six rounds. Grip frame was actually cut to leave the flared bottom as a sort of finger rest. Grips were commensurately reduced. Slide has an unusual cutout on each side near the muzzle. Slide stop has been modified to hold open with a slightly reduced slide travel. This appears to be a factory experimental as the records are open for this serial number indicating it was not shipped from the factory. This appears to have been the factory’s early attempt to design a compact pocket pistol. SN A150814. CONDITION: As noted, fine. Retains most of its factory finish to metal and wood. Seems to function well. 4-48324 JR422 (Anderson Collection) (1,500-2,500)
