FINE UNMARKED CARTRIDGE/MONEY BELT WITH S.C. GALLUP & FRAZIER TRIPLE LOOP HOLSTER. Money belt is made of russet brown leather, 33-3/4″ x 3″, with both edges sewn & a rectangular nickeled iron buckle with sewn & riveted billets. It has thirty-five 44/45 caliber cartridge loops & light rolled edge decorations. Holster is for a 7-1/2″ Colt single action made of fine brown cowhide with three graduated swell-center loops made from one piece of leather. It has a narrow tapered skirt with simple incised line border which follows onto loops. Face of holster has triple incised lines with tiny rosettes at corners of top, front & rear. Top edge has a sewn rolled binding. Top loop is marked “S.C. GALLUP & FRAZIER / PUEBLO” in a rectangular cartouche. CONDITION: Belt is fine & supple, buckle shows moderate wear. Holster is sound with lightly wrinkled skirt with some slight scuffing inside top & wear patina on back. 4-57593 JR556 (2,000-3,000)
