J.S. COLLINS CARTRIDGE/MONEY BELT & HOLSTER. Belt is made of pebble grain russet leather, 37″ long, folded & sewn on top edge. It has sewn & riveted billets with tongue billet having a long oval cartouche “J.S. COLLINS & CO. / CHEYENNE, WYO”. It has forty 44/45 caliber sewn-on cartridge loops & a rectangular nickeled iron buckle. Holster is right hand, slim, 2-loop with incised border decorations & the Collins shield-shaped stamp near top. Top of shield is marked “CHEYENNE” & body of shield has Collins intertwined “JSC”. CONDITION: Fine. Belt is moderately soiled with some light surface crackling but retains most of its orig finish. There is about 1″ of loose stitching on edge. Buckle retains about 30% orig nickel. Holster is sound with some light surface crackling & moderate soil. 4-57632 JR576 (2,000-3,000)
