EARLY GALLE ENAMELED VASE. Exceptionally fine early Galle vase has heavily enameled flowers, stems, and leaves against an internally decorated smoky glass background. The glass is impressed with vertical swirling bands and a mottled internal decoration in shades of blue. Behind the enameled flowers is a distant Dutch shore with windmill done in black enamel. The vase is signed with elaborate enameled signature “E. Galle Fecit” along with a flower outline. SIZE: 5″ h x 6″ dia. CONDITION: Very good to excellent, with slight wear to gilding on lip. 5-67788 (8,000-10,000)
