WATERS MODEL 1836 CONVERSION U.S. MARTIAL PISTOL. Cal. 54. NSN. 8-1/2” rnd bbl, brass blade front sight, notch in bbl tang rear sight. Marked, “eagle head / A.H.Waters & Co MILBURY MASS / 1844” on the lock blade & front of hammer, “JH / P / H” on left side of bbl at rear. Initial “H” also appears on sideplate, bbl band, trigger plate, & backstrap. “W.A.T” cartouche on left side of stock along with another unreadable cartouche. CONDITION: Good. Metal parts have been cleaned to bright with moderate pitting remaining around the nipple. Stock has been cleaned & oiled, lock is crisp. 4-59021 FS602 (500-750)
