CASED WEBLEY PERCUSSION REVOLVER. Cal. 48. 5-3/4” oct bbl, marked “WEBLEY’S / PATENT” on the left side of the frame and “BY HER MAJESTY’S ROYAL LETTERS PATENT” on the backstrap. In a typical English mahogany case with Adams bullet mold, a Dixon powder flask, cleaning rod, oil bottle, cap box and tin bullet box. The screwdriver is not correct. There are four extra nipples in one of the compartments. The lock and escutcheon are missing. SN 348. CONDITION: 50% thinning blue overall, mostly worn off the trigger guard. The cylinder still shows the case hardening pattern but little color remains. The case has several splits across the bottom. The interior is fairly clean with some chipping and foxing to the label. The accessories are good. Mechanically needs work. 4-48434 (3,250-3,750)
