FINE EARLY FIVE DRAWER CHEST IN RED PAINT. Four graduated molded edge drawers fitted with replaced early style hardware. Pine construction with the added unusual feature of a thin pocket drawer added under the top molding. Nice red finish. The applied bracket base with central drop. New England, 18th Century. PROVENANCE: From a Newburyport, Massachusetts home. SIZE: 41” h x case 35-3/4” x 18-3/4”. CONDITION: Generally very good. Some scrapes and dings, most notable around the handles. 9-28493 (4000-6000)
