VERY RARE MERWIN & HULBERT SLIM JIM HOLSTER WITH BELT.

VERY RARE MERWIN & HULBERT SLIM JIM HOLSTER WITH BELT. Probably a complete orig rig with fine, unmarked cartridge/money belt, 38″ long x 2-3/8″ wide, full lined with both edges sewn. It has sewn billets with a rectangular cut corner, nickeled brass buckle. It has rolled decorations with thirty-six 44/45 caliber loops. Holster is for a long bbl Merwin & Hulbert Army sized revolver with full coverage beautiful basket weave carving, triple incised border with stamped edges. Back is carved to match. It has a sewn-on belt loop, hand stamped “M.H. &. CO / 44. CAL. DA / ARMY”. There is another Merwin & Hulbert holster similar to this being sold elsewhere in this auction. CONDITION: Belt is soft & supple with light soil & retains most of its orig finish. Holster is matching with a few light nicks & some loose stitching & re-stitching on belt loop with some re-stitching around trigger guard cup, otherwise retains virtually all of its orig finish. 4-57618 JR577 (2,500-4,000)
