DOROTHY OR IVY OR ALZIRA OR ELLEN PEIRCE (WIVES OF WALDO PEIRCE) (American, 20th Century) BUST OF WALDO PEIRCE. Unsigned plaster bust shows a bearded man with receding hairline. NOTE: This bust was found in John Kodwyck’s studio. He was a friend of Waldo’s and his Estate contained this bust and several pieces of art. The box that it was found in with his annotated writing indicating that the bust was of Waldo Peirce and by his wife. SIZE: 16-1/2″ h x 10″ d x 10″ w. CONDITION: Nice age patina, one ear has back area chipped. 9-92842 (500-1,000)
