LIONEL STANDARD GAUGE ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE. The locomotive #40-AD in apple green with a set of four matching cars #431 #418; #419; and #490. Engine has two motors with nice replacement wheels; a replacement headlight; this is the top of the line locomotive for its time. It includes extra piping, operating lights on both ends. The cars are apple green with dark red window trim; all cars have minor imperfections and scratches; one car has minor dent without hurting the paint. The dining car that is with this set is very scarce because you would have had to buy it separately; it was never sold in a set. CONDITION: Locomotive has some minor chips but once cleaned up is in very nice condition. The cars are all very good plus. EC 1-6507 (800-1,200)
