DERINGER MODEL 1842 BOX LOT PISTOL. NSN. Cal. 54. 6” rnd bbl. Walnut stock. Bbl is rifled with 7 grooves. Marked “US / DERINGER / PHILADELA” There are no inspector marks or cartouches. Ramrod swivel assembly has been replaced. CONDITION: Fine, with 80% of the orig brown mixed with light surface rust on bbl. Strong traces of casehardening color remain on the lockplate and hammer. Wood is fine with only minor dents and scratches with some rounding of the edges at the rear of the lockplate. Mechanically crisp. 4-58288 FS19 (3,000-4,000)
