PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD TRAIN BY HUBLEY. This train engine is similar to lot #3900, although this is a later casting. Notice the difference on the front wheels, the earlier version has outboard single wheels whereas the later version has inboard attached wheels. The casting/enameling is not as fine, what a difference 20 years can make! This train was produced in the 1920’s versus 1906. Included with this lot is the remnants of the box end, indicating that this was produced by Hubley and marked with the item number, “…91 MIXED TRAIN”. SIZE: 28″ l (overall). CONDITION: Engine and tender near mint condition. The passenger car, due to flaking is in very good condition. Gondola very good+. JL 1-3895 (500-600)
