LIONEL STANDARD GAUGE #5 LOCOMOTIVE WITH SLOPE BACK TENDER & #29 DAY COACH. Engine is black with red window trim. Has pedestal headlight and short crinkle coupler and original flag post and pilot. Wooden steam dome intact and in nice condition. Cab is lettered “N.Y.C & H.R.R.R.” Tender is nice little sloped back example lettered “N.Y.C. & H.R.R.R.” on both sides. Also includes olive green day coach #29 with gold pin striping, clearly lettered “New York Central Lines” and embossed on the bottom “Lionel MFG Co. NY”. CONDITION: Engine mechanism is clean. Nice bright drivers and other nickel trim. Overall bluing of boiler is very good. Wooden boiler front and black wooden bulkhead intact. Long attaching screw is in place. Tender roof is in very good condition. Day coach has some paper marks, very few nicks or scratches. Minor surface rust on bottom edge of car, overall very good plus. EC 1-6492 (800-1,000)
