TOLE DECORATED COAL HOD. Second half 19th century, English. Rectangular hinged lid paint decorated with a large central floral spray within border of oak leaves. Coal hod with large floral spray on front panel, all on black field, raised on claw feet. SIZE: 19″ h x 22″ w x 16-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Structurally good, decorated surfaces with substantial paint loss, especially to lid. 9-23140 (200-300)
