TWO SETS OF ENGLISH DECORATED LUNCHEON PLATES. First half 20th Century. The first, a set of ten 9″ painted and transfer decorated Wedgwood luncheon plates. Pattern number W9959. The second set of eleven, Copeland Spode 8-1/2″ luncheon plates decorated with a central floral filled basket within a light blue/gray band decorated with embossed floral sprays. Retailed by Tiffany & Co., New York. Pattern number R7981. SIZE: As noted above. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Estate (F.W. Woolworth Dept. Store). CONDITION: Wedgwood plates with minor flecks on rim edges. The Spode plates very good overall with no imperfections noted. 9-21382 (100-200)
