*COLT PRE-WAR BULLS-EYE MATCH TARGET SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. SN MT9061. Cal. 22 LR. Usual configuration with 6-5/8″ flat side bbl having a 4-ring bulls eye and “MATCH/TARGET” on left side and “THE WOODSMAN” on left front side of frame. Slide & top of bbl have usual markings. It has a replacement front sight with fully adjustable Stevens rear sight and 1-pc elephant ear checkered walnut grip with silver Colt medallions. Accompanied by an orig 2-tone Woodsman magazine. Front of trigger guard has a curious screw installed, the reason for which could not immediately be discerned. CONDITION: Very fine plus. Overall retains 96-97% strong orig blue with only slight edge wear and some flaking on spring housing. Grip is sound without the usual crack in front showing light to moderate wear and a few minor dings. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore. 4-32973 JR123 (1,000-2,000)
