SHULTE PERCUSSION TARGET PISTOL. NSN. Cal. 46. 10-3/4” oct. bbl. Marked “H. H. SCHULTE.” on the lockplate with the same on the bbl over “PITTSBURGH”. Schulte worked from 1868 to 1875. Pistol is equipped with a sgl set trigger. Butt cap is German silver and forearm tip is pewter. Front sight is also German silver, but the rear sight is iron. CONDITION: Smooth brown patina with widely scattered specks of pitting. Wood has small dents and scratches. Points on the forearm tip are broken off and missing.
