*REMINGTON MODEL 1894 A GRADE DAMASCUS DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 119197. Fine field grade dbl with 30″ “Oxford” pattern Damascus bbls choked IMP-MOD/MOD with flat, matted, tapered rib, sgl bead, third bite rib extension, extractor & dbl triggers. Maker’s name & address are on the rib. Receiver has the maker’s name on each side. Wood is nicely figured French walnut with checkered splinter forearm & rnd knob semi-pistol grip stock with raised side panels, 14″ over a Remington logo hard rubber buttplate. Drop at the heel 3″, drop at the comb 1-3/4″. Weight: 7 lbs. 4.6 oz. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine. Bbls retain 95-97% strong orig blue/brown Damascus patterns with light muzzle edge wear, thinning at the chamber ends & a dull spot over the forearm. Receiver retains about all of its bright orig case colors with some thinning on the front edge of the floorplate & a slightly battered screw. Wood is sound with light bruises & scratches & usual handling marks & retains most of its orig varnish. Mechanics are fine, very bright shiny bores. 5-60464 JR181 (1,500-2,500)
