REMINGTON MODEL 1894 AE GRADE DAMASCUS DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 10 ga. SN 103428. Fine Damascus waterfowl gun with 32″ “Oxford Pattern” Damascus bbls with flat, matted, tapered rib, sgl bead, and third bite rib extension, ejectors & dbl triggers. Maker’s name is on the rib. Receiver has the maker’s name on each side. Wood is nicely figured American walnut with checkered splinter forearm & rnd knob semi-pistol grip stock with side panels, 14″ over a Remington logo hard rubber buttplate. Drop at the heel 3″, drop at the comb 1-3/4″. Weight: 8 lbs. 9.7 oz. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls retain 95-98% strong blue/brown Damascus pattern with minor muzzle edge wear & some thinning & discoloration at the chamber end. Receiver retains about 75-80% strong bright case colors, turning silver on the edges & fences. Floorplate retains 60-70% case colors, strong & bright in the sheltered area, turning silver toward the front end. Wood is sound with light handling & use marks, nicks & dings, two or three small bruises and retains most of its orig varnish.
