TWO PIECES OF IMARI PORCELAIN & ORIENTAL ENAMEL GLOBULAR VASE. IMARI: 19th century, Japan. The first an 11″ bowl with polychrome panels alternating with indigo reserves decorated with scrolling floral vinery and flower heads centering a rondel decorated with stylized fish. Second an oval 13″ platter with scalloped edge floral decorated overall. VASE: Late 19th, early 20th century. The round vase with small scrolled handles and a ruffled everted rim decorated with silver gilt dragon and scrollwork, raised on three outturned feet. Marked beneath base. SIZE: Imari: As noted above. Vase: 5-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Imari is generally good. Bowl with tight vertical hairline from rim to midpoint. Platter with shallow chips and abrasions on rim, otherwise good. Vase structurally very good, gilt silvering now mostly absent. 9-26007, 9-26021 (100-300)
